Work the sweet corn today. Its having a difficult time this year. It got frost in late April and got 5 inches of rain about a week ago some of it was under water. some of it I had to replant because the ground was so cold it did not come up. It sure has been a strange weather this year. I think it will make corn by July 4th if all goes well. Used my 1985 Garden Way tiller.

Knee high by the 4th of July is what we say around here. Yours looks good to me. Mine hasn't even gone in the ground yet.

Crazy year for sure,  had to bring plants in that I could due to frost warning and the pellet stove is back on. Forecast is mid 30's tonight, hard to believe its May 15. Just looked at my weather station temp is 43 :(

At least your corn is up. Mine just went into the ground Saturday. First of August for picking if we are lucky. From the photos yours doesn't look bad. It sure would be nice to have fresh sweet corn on the forth.

your corn looks pretty good for this screwy year. We just had frost again last weekend, but it didnt hurt anything. My corn is just coming up. Todays 92* temp should boost it up some.

Corn is an easy thing here, what im hoping for is a 4th of july fully ripe tomato, if we keep some warmer temp's, i should be able to at least a few.
