I posted a wanted add and a guy with this Massey called me he said he restores bigger tractors and was going to do this but hasn't got to it yet.  He wanted $500 I offered 400 and he said I can go to 450 if not I will just keep it and do it when I get the time.  He said it ran last Fall well and cut grass with it too.  However he said it needs coupler on pump shaft he welded it together with just spot welds to be sure it worked its no longer welded but need the coupler.  So is this worth what he is asking it has three point hitch and rear PTO and said there appears to be a front PTO as well.   Any help I would appreciate.  Also where can I get the coupler?

Lets put it this way...... I'd buy it!  Even non running as long as there is compression.  You can get the coupler HERE

Welcome to GTT. Before you go, download the manuals from our Manuals Section to learn more about it. That is a great tractor and another thread is selling the tiller attachment for it. Good Luck, Rick

Hi there.

Welcome to GTT.

Please tell me where you are, by private message. I'll go get it if you

don't. :smilewink:

As for the front PTO. Yes there is one, off the front of the engine, which is a Kohler

K341. Without that electric front PTO, he wouldn't have been able to run the mower deck.

Please keep us posted.

Why private?  Are you afraid of a little competition?
