I just ran across this sight, glad to see these old tractors have a following.

Maybe someone can help me date mine.

Hood says T63, the serial number tag says TE63 # 1873

It has a Wisconsin 7SD engine

No mention of city or state where made

If you can get us the Wisconsin motor number we can date the year it was made. Right now that is the best way to date them. T-63's were made from some where around November of 1962 and till the end of 1965. So there was about 3 years of production. Late 62- all of 63- all of 64 and all of 65. As of the price listed dated October 1, 1966, the T-63 was no longer listed as an available model.

That is the best estimate based on price lists.

Glad to have you on board!! Always like to have another Bush Hog owner!!

That makes it the current "last bush hog D4-10 to be made".....my 10295 was the last one....but this one has taken its place......be interesting to see what the last serial number collected will end up being....maybe this is it. That is why we have to keep collecting the information. Thanks Peter

Just thought you may be interested to see what the oldest T-63 looks like. Serial # 1627

I got it basically this way- it was the one I brought back from Kansas that had good front rims, tires, and had the hydro gear rear end in it.....

Have not, but that does not mean it should not be collected as well. I am not in a position to check mine today, are they individually numbered or are the by casting groups or ??

Would it be a problem if I own two D4-7s in sequential order?

Because I have the opportunity too. :)

I think so, I hope to get it. Just depends if the seller will come down a bit on his price.
