I bought a bunch of old tractor and engine magazines at a swap meet a couple weeks back.

The July 1994 issue of Gas Engine Magazine has an article on the resurrection of Bush Hog D4-7, serial no. 7061 built in Selma, AL.  The tractor was sold new by Askew Tractor and Implement in Harrison, AR.  Later it spent time in Taylor, TX and then went to Leander, TX.

located in central Missouri.  Sold at auction 11-6-2015.  Incomplete with no engine or bellhousing - transaxle was apart and in a different building so likely they didn't wind up together.

I got a call from a man today who gets Antique Power magazine. Apparently they did an article about Bush Hogs in this months issue. They have a man named richard runnebaum with his phone number listed 785-249-6494 who has a D4-7.

Is he on here or has anyone heard about him before?

I don't think he is on the Internet. He has a T/63 and the D4-7. He collects other garden tractors as well.

I had already made the change in the registry. As you probably already know, the S-12D is the correct motor for this serial number, so that worked out perfect. Yes give me the motor serial number and I will it as well.

Hello everyone ... my friend just bought a T63 serial is TE 3 2009. Pretty neat tractor with a pto off the back. It seems to be complete and runs pretty good. He will do a complete restore on it to add to his collection.
