Since Steph slaughtered chickens this week I have a big pile of livers and some friends are coming over tomorrow night. SO I had to come up with a good recipe. I have used a couple of different ones and didn't really like any of them.
So I went into mad scientist mode and came up with THE BEST DANG PAN FRIED CHICKEN LIVER you will ever eat.
You will need.
Cowboy beer can chicken rub
I never mix anything so you will have to guess at the measurements.
In a container mix several splashes of Worcestershire sauce. A couple of good shakes of garlic salt, a heavy dose of beer can chicken rub, and beer. Put in chicken livers and refrigerate overnight.
In a pan of your choosing (I use a cast iron skillet) add canola oil and place on medium heat. Fry livers until cooked throughout.
Grab a fork and enjoy.
