That's too bad he's scrapping all those tractor's. I can't believe he couldn't sell them for something other than scrap.

Here is what he has listed on Craigslist. I see some stuff in there I would like.

That guy Steve has been around a long time. He was a member of some of the yahoo groups before there were many forums like this one. I believe I bought some bolens parts from him years ago.

7 dumpsters full ? That's a lot of iron !! Guess the county or township made him get rid of them or face fines.

Steve Johnson is a member here, but doesn't come here very often. Member "Wilberj" has bought some RideMasters and other things off him.

Here is his member profile page,

It is a shame that the guy has had problems with the county. This is no longer a free country. Some new person probably moved in his area and threw a fit over stuff that has been there for years.

I know a guy who runs a dairy farm and one day after spraying manure a cop showed up and said a neighbor had complained about the smell. There was a woman who had just moved in across the road. And had complained twice already. Cop told him he wasn't doing anythign wrong seeing that the farm had been there for 150 years.

The guy was out when the woman went to her mailbox and he told her next time she complained his manuer spreader was malfunction in front of her house and would spray a couple thousand gallons on her lawn. She never complained again.

Steve is one heck of a nice guy he help me get my Bean Cutler Shipped here.

He does not like what he has to do to make the county happy you can trust me on that. He is saveing as much of the good stuff off the tractors he can but most you see going to the junk is mostly just frames that dont have much left to offer.

Ditto ^

Unfortunately some people just cant keep stuff they want then when the town gets involved it gets bad ... i know its a shame but its Quite difficult to part out machines when you consider time space and selling to parts Also shipping is stupid

He's just a wheeeeeee bit outta range location wise but as said, he seems to care about em, knows where they're hiding and what's a guy to do when he's facing pressure. :(  Good Luck Steve!
