Hey guys! I know I'm in the middle of my restoration on my Cub Cadet 122, but theres some bad news :O My sheer pin fell out when I was doing yard work, not a problem. So, I go under my tractor to put it back together and once I got under there, I was surprised. My creeper gear seal is shot, and is leaking prettty bad :wallbanging:  . So, I just bought one a few minutes ago, but man. Replacing the seal in this tranny is going to be like a car transmission. Its going to be tuff. Wish me luck! I'll keep you guys updated on it. Take the 4 bolts out that hold the engine in,take the bolt or pin out of the top of the clutch hanger and unhook the clutch rod from the pedal. You will be able to slide the engine and whole drive shaft and clutch forward about 5 inches.Should be enough to slip the new gasket over the short creeper gear.It beats taking the whole rear end out.
