Welcome to GTT. Check the manuals section for the manuals on each deck and compare. Good Luck, Rick

The front mounting spring is the same and so is the hinge/rod assembly in the rear.  This replacement deck is a floating deck, no front wheels,  It also has the synchronizing mechanism that eliminates the blades from hitting.  The belt assembly sits higher than the  old deck,  I will need to check for clearance. Also, is labeled a mulching deck.

The only sure way is to bring it home and see if it fits.  The discharge is different and may not accept my leaf catcher.

Thanks for your comments, keep them coming.

Really there is only one way to find out, try it.  Check the width of the attaching points on the tractor and the deck.  Even though they may look the same the could be a space you will have to compensate for.  Let us know how it works out, also some pictures would be good.

Also Welcome to GTtalk, glad you decided to join us.

I have the deck. The owner let me bring it home to see if it fits. I'll let you know.

Deck is installed and working.  Front and rear attachments the same.  The synchronized blades with the additional belt creates a bit of a drag on the engine.  I greased up the spindles and lubed up the wheels to lesson the drag.  Will try using the mower and deck when the rain stops.  So far so good!

New concern.  Same tractor.  Stopped while running.  Checked belts and deck-fine.  Won't turn over, no juice.  Checked battery-recharged, but wouldn't hold charge.  Replaced with new battery, still wouldn't turn over.  Used car battery and engine turned over and ran. Any ideas on what to try next?
