Looking for a good running motor for a 1950 Farmall Cub.

Will consider buying whole tractor to get a good motor.

Located in Southern Ontario.

Did they ever put continentals in them, or is it the 61 inch IH engine?

Not sure, it's really small bore and stroke, has 9. something hp rating.

Pretty sure it's an IH only engine, someone said a continental y62 would bolt in, but I don't think it's that easy.

Doug, are you planning on working this engine? If not, my Uncle has rebuilt several seats with JB weld and had very good luck with longevity. One of the tractors he even brush hogs with (JD80)

The manifold is rusted real good inside, the valves are stainless and not too bad, the seats are shot, plus ???

Needs to goto a machine shop as I can't fix this.

Both rear tires leak calcium through the rims.
