I had to do it. I got a green tractor that I plan to use. The steering gear is worn and the woman said scrap it. I still think it was worth the 75$ I gave for it. I mowed a little and it does well. It needs rear tires and the steering shaft. Plus is always been serviced at work.

It's ok by me.  I may be a "Red Tractor Guy", but I mow with green myself.

I know. I thought about you when I serviced a f925 the other day.

Good grief, if you decide to come back to sanity and chuck that green thing, you can probably quadruple your money spent.

I'd say that was a great purchase.

Took advantage of the lady for sure! People will junk anything now days. Looks like they run into lots of stuff anyway and don't deserve a rider. I have an L130, a bigger version of those, and using if for 6yrs or so now. Mow and snow plow. Always runs, little maintinance, and looks nice.  Wife can run it too, with hydro and ease of use. You'll like it.

This is a gear drive. I'll get a little hydro sooner than later I'm sure.

Can't beat that price.  Those mow just fine, too.  Is that a JD or a HDJD?

Looks like you got a good deal!  If the steering is anything like the L110 fixed a while back, it won't be hard or expensive to fix.  The gear bolts on to the end of the shaft.
