Just a quick update. This pic shows how badly misformed someone had made the links. The top one is the correct one. But after using the measurements Cvans supplied, I was able to get them right. The only change was for the deck I have I needed to shorten the longer part of the arms by about 1-3/4 inches. But now the deck rides properly under tractor and I can mount in correct lift arm holes so I now lifts level instead of nose down. Thanks again Cvans.

If the all-thread gives on you (1/2" all-thread really just gives you about 3/8" of solid center) , then I'd go with solid rod, then thread the ends.   You could also add a small gusset at the bends to reinforce them.

Thanks olcowhand, I was going to watch em close. I know these aren't as strong as what is OEM, but its what I had on it her when I bought it. At least it functions properly now.
