Can anyone ID this tractor, looks like it has a heavy duty rear axle.

It is a Gilson, Montgomery Wards model most likely, most likely 16 horsepower from probably 1979 and up.  It is also a hydro.  Value in that condition is not too much, but if the hydro is good and the engine runs well, then it might be a decent tractor once the seat is padded and the tires are replaced/repaired.

I just sold one a month or two ago just like it, except mine was gear drive.

Well, it's free so I'll pick it up.  Are they heavy duty?  I mean like a "garden" tractor?  Did these come with a lift?
