Well certainly his logic started on the right track.  He knew how center fire shell ignition worked and how to fire it with an impact, that's 2 points in his favor.  However, like all of us that have had that experimental bright idea "OH S#!^!" moment, he neglected following through on his ballistic energy studies.  He now knows that "energy containment" and "projectile management" are also basics in firearms bullet control design.  The young people of today could sure use some lessons in "Zip Gun Manufacture" from some of us "older" folks!

 

I wonder if his buddy is still holding his beer, or finally decided that he would be coming home late from the hospital and drank it?:D
