hope this helps others with the problem of white smoke after your garden tractor or any thing else that has been setting for a while

Now I'm confused.  I always thought white smoke was caused by water in the gas or running lean, while blue smoke was oil.

never heard of that before.  White smoke is caused by water in the system not breather failure. If the breather failed the motor would not run right or at all.  I have been working in small engine shops for couple years now
