It was raining today, this evening that switched over to sleet, and now it's snowing in Eastern Nebraska. I believe the last time we had snow on this date was 1911. This is the latest snow I've seen here in my lifetime. It was 84 Tuesday... it was 33 on my way home just now. We are expecting 3-5" tonight and 1-3" tomorrow. It appears the state and counties have all the plows put away.

I still have a little sunburn from mowing Sunday.

Could ya take a bit more of it? Instead of sending it to the northeast right at me?

I loaded up the CC129 with the tiller and we were headed towards St.Cloud Mn. in the morning to visit the kids. That's off as they are suppose to get 6 to 9 inches of snow tonight. :mad2:  Hopefully next weekend will be better.

If I had my way, I'd would just move 500 miles north of here. I would have nothing to complain about then, after all snow is snow wherever it happens. Minnesota has a wealth of hunting, fishing, and wilderness opportunities my state does not offer.

Ah, Ma Nature, gotta love her! We finally have enough "spring" for the sap to start running, the latest I've ever seen it. Good thing we still have lots of maple syrup from other years, 'cause we're not going to get any this year.Snow was forcast here for yesterday, but it missed us and dropped tons south of us.

It's quite common for us to get snow in the first week of May here. The weather certainly seems to be a complete change from the very warm and early spring we had last year.

It's all appropriate, Christmas is only 236 days away.
