Dave, thanks for the scans for the Sears Farm catalog. This is real nice to have.

Maybe I was confused as to what Lauber1 was talking about.

I do realize that this is a small low power unit compared to a full sized DB walking tractor.

I used to have one of those as well. Wish I would have kept it now. That machine had some power for sure.

I will find another one sometime in the future.

Have been out working on getttin the little Handiman. Can't get any spark out of the coil.

Pulled it off and cleaned the magnet and the pick ups on the coil.

Still no spark. Then pulled the fly wheel and checked the points. They look fine.

So, either the condensor is bad or the coil is shot.  Will try a condensor first.

    Thanks again for the scans.

Actually it has the same motor as found on a lot of the bigger model. My Super Power is only 2 1/4 HP.

The bigger DB I had did have a pretty small engine on it for all the power it had. That transmission makes all the difference.

Dave, thanks for the catalog add pics. Nice seeing all the attachments that were available.

I went and talked to the man that had this DB. He had donated to the church for the sale I went to where I bought it.

I asked if he had any other attachments for it. He had thought they had taken the one other that he had.

We looked around and found it. It's a snow blower. Still in very good shape with most of the paint intact.

  Will post some pics tomorrow.
