My 214 is lacking a grill and I was wondering if the 300 series and 200 series grills are the same in case I come across one somewhere. Anyone know off hand before I try a search in JDParts. How about engine side panels? Would they be the same? I'm missing my right one. Thanks Much!

Some of the grills will depending on the year of your 214 with a 312,314 and 317. Side panels will not. Deere used different designs on the side panels depending on the year. Also on designs and ways they mounted on the grills. Hoe this will help you out and save you some money by not buying the wrong one.

look around for a square tube grill ,I know some are out there. I think they look the best , not the stamped metal ones. rare find if you get one.

I did find one (the stamped one) on Epay for a good deal actually. It's in pretty good condition. I was quite surprised. Now I have a new grill and a new hitch plate (mine was welded up). I suppose I should concentrate on what's in between.

Got both ends fixed up? I like the in-between part. Good luck with all of it.

Engine's getting a new sleeve and I'm about down to the frame + variator. That might be where she stops before a coat of blitz black. I need to till with her in the spring. Looks doubtful at this point.

I cut the 2 outside bars off of my grille on my 314 so they won't rub paint on side panels
