I saw guys riding some of these around the grounds at the Alexander steam show.

Watch the video and fast forward to about 8 minutes in, at 8:16 you can just catch a glimpse of one riding by.(behind the steam tractor)

I had one of the older models, was my first rider! Worked pretty good on flat ground, but not worth a d**n on hills! :( They are front wheel drive, an early "zero turn! That was used, 25 years ago.

The one I had was either ratchet start or electric start Tecumseh. You didn't want it to die very far from an outlet, just plug it into 120V & push the button! :D~~ grnspot
