I mentioned in another thread but Sunday I am going to be going down to Olcowhand's to buy his Ford LGT 165. Looking forward to seeing him again and getting the tour of his tractor collection.

Going to be taking my 3 year old daughter with me (the 2 month old and mommy aren’t going this time). Should be a fun trip.

Will have pictures on monday.

Awesome! I remember taking a trip from Oklahoma to northern Florida with my son who was then about 1-1/2 years old. Even though he was still in diapers, it was a fantastic trip. Have fun!

She is a lot of fun and likes tractors. Olcowhand says he has some cavles she should be able to see. So that will be fun. The things she notices and talks about are interesting, makes me laugh.

Don't tell Chuck guys, but I'm gonna have 2 extension ladders set up on the main side of the house. With the 2 of us, we'll get that old clapboard & vinyl off in no time!:bigrofl:
No, not gonna make him work, as I may take most of the day off from siding anyway. A guy's gotta rest sometime! I'll easily finish the front tomorrow.
Looking forward to meeting Chuck again and showing his daughter the farm animals. Kids always love farms...at least when they're little. When they get older, they seem to notice the smell more. Don't worry Chuck, our place doesn't smell nearly like other dairies around here. You can leave your gas mask at home. See ya's Sunday!

You dont want to do that or you might end up having to pay me to take the tractor as I charge a very high hourly rate for manual labor.:bigrofl::laughingteeth:

Well, the way I figure, we swapped some $'s for some BBQ. I could pay you with some natural organic high-powered fertilizer! And I'll even supply lids for the buckets!:bigrofl::bigrofl::bigrofl::bigrofl:

Kind of hated to see the Ford leave, but she's found a good home with Chuck, so all is good. His daughter Daphne had a great time while here on the farm too. I took her an "Elsie" small stuffed cow when I met Chuck this past Spring, and she brought it along to re-visit with us. She went home with another stuffed cow to, but this one is black/white, so now she's got a small herd started. She got to bottle feed a calf & get licked by it too. I can tell she had a good time...she didn't want to leave!
They are on their way home as I post this. I think Chuck is very happy with his purchase. I also sold hi m an extra set of rims/tires for his MTD 990 project. He got a free 4 drawer file cabinet too. To get my son a 2 drawer at auction, I had to buy a lot of 8, so I made Chuck take one!:D

That's awesome and I am glad you all had a good time. Daphne is too cute. I like that shirt you are wearing too Daniel :D

I think the Ford found a good home as well.
