I'm about to have a new serial decal made up for my '73 GT-12 and have noticed that some tractors have 2 zeros in front of the 4 digit sequence number.

Example: My serial is 9374. Looking at a couple other tractors, I believe it may have actually read 009374. My original decal is long gone, but my father managed to grab the number off it way back when.

Can anybody with one of these tractors that still has a readable decal weigh in? Example pic attached...

What year is your tractor? I can't quite make out the serial and also noticed that it's a metal plate w/ rivets.....

It must be a open side tube frame tractor.

I don't know the year. But, it's a 53500 so, 1977 to 1980? I do have an open side Ford LGT 125.

Looks like this;image.jpg

Looking for '72-'76 (open side) JACOBSEN specific references. I figured the Fords and closed sides would be different. Thanks for the input so far though....
