I believe he wanted to know what tractor or engine it was from, not what it was, which is fairly obvious to anyone who's been around any garden tractor.an electric clutch, most of one, anyway.

That's very helpful, thanks. I'm just not sure why I would want it, good used working ones in one piece aren't that much, I've never paid more than 20 bucks for one. The local mower shop has a pile of them they think are bad, when they just need some adjustment, they let me take all I want. I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just dont know why you would waste the time and money to mail it, or that anyone would pay anything for it, let alone pay shipping. Kohler 10hp electric PTO's seem to be very common. I also could be totally wrong, in which case, I'll accept virtual flogging as punishment. Bill

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but after reading my post it seemed that way, sorry. I think it was the statement of "I know what it's worth", that confused me. What do you think it's worth? then you have to figure shipping. Not saying you should give it away, or take less, maybe someone close would buy it, not likely. I guess I'm just confused.
