Getting pricey aren't they! All jokes aside, as these great 2 wheelers get more recognition and become rarer the price is going to go up.

He did a good polish job on that one but should have made sure to get all the buffing compound/wax buildup cleaned off before the pictures.

I saw one bring $640 at auction a couple of weeks ago.  Common model with an amateur paint, plow, and sickle that was missing the clutch.

Seems real high to me, but it is cool that he's got the original bill of sale and brochures and manual.

This tractor has an aluminum 2 3/4 Briggs, with a reverse ready pulley. No reverse or speedchanger. It is not a fancy or even a rare model. At most it is worth $200-$300.

To make matters worse, it doesn't even have the original motor in it, it has been replaced. According the SN the motor is a cast iron Model 8 made in 1953.

It also looks to have been repainted and 1 handle bar grip is missing.

The sickle is very dirty. It looks to have used way more than the ad states it has.

I had one $390 locally at an auction with a snowplow, sickle bar, and cultivator.  It looked nearly identical to the one in the picture, except the engine was AWOL, and it was repainted rust.

I decided $150 was my limit, that was high enough.  Two suckers dueled each other to $450.

According the SN of the motor it was built in 1953, but the tractor wasn't made until at least 1956. Looks like somebody put a used motor on it.

I wrote him telling him the tractor has the wrong motor in it, but he hasn't changed the listing yet. But with that price it won't sell anyway.
