I personally don't have a tiller for mine , but from what I've seen ,they all rub.

The case is almost worn through on mine.  I could never figure out what in the world would have done that kind of damage.  I just recently figured out that it must have been from a tiller driveshaft.

Yeah, mine's pretty worn, too.  I have the tiller, and like using it, but I gotta figure a way to keep from raising it so high that it rubs the case.  I've thought of getting a thinner drive shaft--maybe a solid bar, but don't know if it would be strong enough.
