When I was working at the rock quarry, I blow a line on my tranny, we didn't have any ATF at the time so I used C4 instead. I figured if it was good enough for an Alison, it was good enough for a Turbo 250. LOL

I have tryed the dex/merc in my eaton 12--bolens,,And what I noticed is alot of foaming action ..At first I thought it was water in the oil cause it turned pink and frothy..Didn't seem to affect the funtion of anything..Went back to the type  F  no more frothing or foaming.. I think it slowed down a few damp spots around the hydro area...So I'm thinking that the  Dex,, was more like putting it in a blender and mixing air into it causeing it to foam up..Buying the right 2 Qts  of oil compared to the price of a hydro repair, don't add up to me..   Use the dex/merc in your'e gas as an additave,,,an ounce here and there... For cars and GTs  It's an exelant cleaner for engines,injectors..And lubes at the same time,, especialy with modern fuels.. Just my .02 C
