i'll be prying those stock 'turf slippers' off and puttin' real shoes on the GT5K.   gonna be a throw down in my backyard, yo!

A couple of 23x10-12 Carlisle AT489 Titans and 55lb wheel weights.  overkill?  i hope so.

I think he said he's putting some new tires(they look like good ones too, btw) on the craftsman gt5000 because the old ones are worn out. 

How'd I do?

The new shoes look a lot better than the turfers.  & It's amazing what another 55# or so will do for traction.

If I remember correctly, the OP purchased the tractor new within the last few years.  But, hey, my memory can be faulty too.

the "old" ones are a month old, i just don't like them.  the terrain is too challenging.
