Last night on my way home I stumbled across a Bolens 800 for sale, ~200 yards from my back fence :)

After talking to the guy for about half an hour, I drove home my new '67 model 800.

No mower deck or attachments. Tires have good tread and hold air but are heavily cracked.

It cost me $150.

It starts easily, burns clean. Some difficulty with the shifter, need to hunt for 1st and reverse.

I've never owned a tractor before. This will be great at our cabin, it will be used to haul dirt/stones/mulch/brush in a dump cart, and move my Jeep trailer around. Maybe eventually get a plow, weights and chains for some winter duty.

I'll post some pics after my posting restriction is lifted.

OK, here are some pics of my new rig:

I know a bit about old and newer Jeeps, but nothing about tractors.

I'm looking forward to a new learning experience !

Thanks Nate!

'67 is what the owner claimed. I'll pull some numbers this evening and check them against online resources tomorrow.

 Hi welcome to GTT.

Lots of good Bolens knowledge around here.

You've come to the right place.

I like your GT. I've been looking for one of those for about

3 years, but can't hunt one down up here.

Welcome to GTtalk Lynn225.  Glad u found this site.  Bunch of great tractor crazies around here, that's for sure.

Great find u got.  That is a work horse of a tractor.  Too bad u are so far away from me, I have a Bolens snow caster (snow blower) out in the shed that would hook right up to it.

Happy tractoring and :welcometogttalk: !

Its either a 1964 or 1965

Looks like someone swapped the fenders and seat at some point.
