Im pretty sure I fixed the mower deck clearance issue. What I did was disconnect and screw in the rod yoke that was attached to the lift shaft, which made the length shorter(thank you elfman)  By doing that, it raised the highest setting by 2"(4 full revolutions of the yoke), and did not change the height of the lowest setting(cutting height).  I don't see how I could mess up the level of the deck because at the lowest setting, the deck rests on the wheels and rollers.  So as long as you dont change the wheel height, the level or deck height at the lowest setting should remain the same.  Am I missing something?
