Hi,

I am looking at a Cub Cadet 1512 Diesel with mower deck and front blade.

My question is what would be a good price to pay?

Not sure of hours, Supposedly starts and runs good.

I had a 1512 a few years ago and my biggest problem was with the limited battery size and ability to get it started. I traded it for some other gt.

Not really sure of my intentions: keep or resell.

Thanks for your replies

Chuck

TSC now sells a GT type battery made by Excide that has 420 cranking amps, so should do well for these diesels. $44.99 plus core.
I really have no idea as to the tractor's worth, but pics would help a ton.

I'd love to have a diesel GT. If the only thing that's stopping you is the battery issue then spend the 50$ and get the battery for the job. You'll save that much in fuel within maybe 25 hours of operation.

Its not the battery ...its a Starter issue there is a After market starter ($100) .. Now used by kubota that uses less power and have Way more torque there is a Video Some where on it .. the kubota's are Super efficient on fuel If you can get it under 2 K you are doing good They are getting Harder to find and with the newer stuff so expensive and other stuff people are buying is junk .. so people are now getting Older Gt's to replace there "New stuff" The 1512's are a Awesome tractor and the Kubota Diesel is even better

Daylight & dark!  The Kubota G4200 I just sold cranked slow also.  I just figured battery.....well, my battery is getting weaker, but that new starter is way better!  Where did you get your starter?

Same starter will fit on the Z430 ...

Im not sure Exactly what starter to get but the bolt pattern is the same on most of the starters I was going to put one on my Z482 but it cranks fine (Big battery) you just need to look around Kubota now uses the same starters on many D series engines

I have a 2320 but would like to get a 332 for lighter duty chores. I know where there is one for sale but they want too much for it.

Hi,

Here is a not so good cell phone pic.

It started easily enough yesterday, has 1282 hrs, 50 deck, and front blade. It does not have the engine side covers.

The tires are very good. It appears that someone was redoing this tractor and lost interest of needed some money.

There is some other equipment in the deal that I am making a bid on.

My current thought is to buy the stuff and resell this tractor/deck/front blade.

Thanks for your replies.

Doesn't look to be in to bad of shape at all. The tires look real good. If those are close to new that's $300-$500 right there.

Hi,

I've picked up this tractor and the other stuff.

I just plced the tractor, 50" deck, front blade, 3 pt hitch in the classified section.

I'm asking $1500. I am located near Hagerstown, In.

Thanks for your responses and interest.

Chuck
