Got back from Ga with the 'new' motorhome in the early evening yesterday, and decided to just park in the local Wally World, as getting this one parked next to the old one will be easier in the daylight :D :D :D

Anyway, wife was asking about other places I/we needed to go. I mentioned that there is an EK Reel mower that I have made a deal for up in Michigan, and she suggested that we go get it it :D :D :D

So, after a cup of Coffee, and a bit of 'battening down the hatches'...I'll be off to MI.

Yes, Jerome....I'M POACHING in "That State up North"...BBWWWAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAHAAAAAA!

Glad you are able to just pick-up and take off when you want. And it sounds like the misses is all for it too.

Enjoy your road trips!

You can't beat WalMart parking lots for "camping", just don't dump the black water tank or start a bon-fire.....They get a little upset when you damage the blacktop!

Was  a genuine pleasure to talk with ya, and check out your toys.

The trip out went well.  We ran into just a wee spot where just enough moisture hit the windshield that I could declare it an official "Ob rain making and tractor getting expedition" .

Got to MB's place, which by the way looks real nice, right around 1:00 my time.  We talked a bit, swapped a few lies, and I gave him the $0.02 tour of the "Rain Making Machine".  $$ changed hands and with the reel mower loaded up we headed back to the homestead.

Since I was up early, I figured a nap was in order and we pulled into the first turnpike service area in Indiana, where I crashed out in the bedroom.  I woke up after about a 2 1/2 hour nap to the sound of a steady downpour, so the streak held without having to resort to having the 'mist' on the way out having to count  :D :D :D

We took the time to 'Nuke" a large snack/small dinner, and then proceeded on our merry way.

Since it was getting dark, and I didn't want to try parking this rascal in my narrow drive way in the dark, we are currently sitting in a service plaza on the Ohio Turnpike.  They have a $20.00 fee for camping out overnight that includes a dump station and electricity, which is a VERY good deal and cheaper than sitting in Wally World's parking lot running the generator.

As for taking the trailer?  Didn't need it.  The "Rain Maker" has an attachment 'holding area'  :D :D :D

All in all, it was a succesful trip with the added bonus, of sneaking into "That state up north', and snagging a Bolens goodie right under Jeromes's nose.  BWWWAAAAHAAAHAAAAAHAAAA   :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

Wipers weren't an issue.  I have a video of them 'doing their thing'  that I'll post on YouTube when I get back to the house and can use my desk top machine.  This laptop that I use on the road is kinda like me...old and slow.  Plus I'm using a Verizon 'Jetpack Hotspot" for internet access, and it's pretty limited on the amount of data you can upload/download.
