marl tell the neighbors they can really show their appreciation by buying some gas and oil.

Fortunately I am up on a hill so if it floods here a lot of places will be washed out to sea. My field is in a hole but no standing water yet even with all the rain we have had.

Marlboro,

So, since no one else wishes to touch this topic I think it's time I take the bull by the horns. It would seem that since you did not get your leaf vac trailer completed this past Fall that you have now conspired with Mother Nature to have her "wash" your leafs away so that you don't actually have to finish your build. Is this what's really happening here or is it just a coincidence? :bigrofl:

Moose- too funny. I think I will have to add an additional grinder to the leaf vac, I'll call it the Fish Grinder Pro. Version 2.3 is gonna have to wait, because the bench is piled high with a bunch of big heavy crap which if moved the wrong way will fall over and kill me. Think of a real life game of Jenga, with heavy stuff.... And the Fish Grinder Pro is under that .  Did I mention the chainfalls holding the welders up into the rafters to keep them outta the water ???

Wagon, I sure would not mind a helping hand from the neighbors for gas, oil and electric costs, but the real reason I do the pumping is for my own good. I'm not that altruistic lol!

When Little M got home today, I sent her out on a photo mission for this thread just for fun. This was her perspective:

Yep LD, things are looking better.   Early this morning 3 AM ??  I was awakened by the sound of  the electric pump starting to gulp some air. I hopped outta bed, and did not want  to get into my trusty waders to get out to the pump starter box.  Instead I went to the breaker box, and cut the power there. ... Lazy me :-)  :rolling:

The higher driveway is now fully exposed, the parking area is drying out, and the lower drive still has water on it, but not much. YAY!

Today I will stretch the power cords out farther, and add some additional discharge hose to the electric dewatering pump. About 50 more feet should get the pump into the low area of the yard and help with the last bit of water.

BTW- Momma is a feisty one . :D
