Looks like tube frame but never seen a deck like it

(From add

Vintage mower deck from a 1961 bolens Huskey tractor.
Runs, but needs tlc.
Missing top covers.)

I've never hardly seen any bigger green decks like that, I've only seen the small little 32in, I would imagine there kind of rare, least in my area anyways, and as far as what they fit, I would imagine they would fit most tube frames

I've seen a few decks like this but never been able to ID the manufacture.... Its not Bolens Though

Those brackets and gearbox are not original to that deck.

Looks like maybe a 42" deck from a Ford YT16 or similar.

After looking over the Gilson built decks for the Fords, I think you are correct!

 I agree. It looks very similar to the deck on my Ford YT18H, I was looking at it today, except for the green paint and that gearbox. It definitely doesn't look like anything built in 1961, given the plastic wheels and nice stickers.

a friend of mine has a allis -deutz tractor that had the same mounts and gearbox, but simplicity made the decks for those tractors

When I bought my 1220 someone had installed a MTD model 990 deck on it had the same long rear axle to lift deck,but it was black. Cheers Mike

OK, I think that is off a Lawnboy. They must have been made by Gilson too. I found this ad on Kijiji and it is identical. Says it needs driveshaft repair.
