I seem to have lost sound, when I try to watch a YouTube video.

I have NO idea, where to strt looking to resolve this.

Windows 7.

 

Help please.

Same thing happened to me a while back, couple days latter it came back on, why ???

What, can't hear ya. :D

 

Yeah, I don't know. System shows everything functioning.

Windows bells/alerts are there.

But no sound from video. It's not muted'.

Windows 7 still has some kind of control panel if I remember correctly.  Check in there and see if anything looks askew.

I've looked there, it says everything is OK.

I did a search for askew too.

Ditto here a few times lately..  I reload the page and it works..  Try that..  Most likely on YT's end since I'm not alone in this ..

Will, been looking online. Found this:

Control Panel> Sound and in the Sound properties screen under Playback menubar locate Select a playback device below to modify its settings: and verify your Speakers icon is Ticked/Checked in that box.

can you play a CD? Click on Control panel link -> Hardware & sound -> Device manager (on first line)  Do you see any yellow question marks?

I've tried to watch George's bush hog vid a few times. No luck. I'll try something else.

 

 

 

And now it worked.

I just caught the end of Thelma and Louise.
