I borrowed the chain saw from my dad a few months ago after a big wind storm to cut up some limbs. The saw was purchased new by my great grandfather, it's a Mini Mac 6. I need manuals for it, the oiler doesn't seem to be working right and it leaks the oil out on the shop floor, it doesnt want to idle, and the on/off switch is out of whack. It's in good shape otherwise, still has the sticker on it (Did you read your owners manual?). I would like to get it running good again before I return it to dad.

I have a few mini's my self.
Let me check my manuals and see if I can locate it. My scanner is down so I'll probably have to take pics of the pages....

Kinda ironic that the sticker remains and the manual is gone LOL! I hope you get it running right for your Dad, that would be a nice surprise for him.

Bolens 1000,

Just wanted to thank you for posting that Mini 6 manual!
I recently picked up a Power mac 6, which is similar, so I am interested in the info.
(diffferent but the same!)
Thanks again!

Thanks a million for the manual on the mini mac 6. My brother got this from his father in laws estate and wanted me to fix it. Got it running on either and well it run but not on gas, but if it run it is worth fixing. No numbers on it and no model, just McCulloch. Did some research and found it to be the mini mac. Then I found a manual, thanks again. the monkeywrencher..

  • Hello...I'm new to the site and am having trouble downloading this file (Mini Mac Manual). I managed to view it once but have not been able to access it since. I was just wondering if there is any way someone would be able to e-mail the file to me so I can print it out. I am in the final stages of restoring one of these saws and need some help getting the starter re-coiled and tuning the carb. My e-mail is jerrynay121atgmail.com, I really appreciate the help and will be happy to post some pics of the saw once it's all finished. Thanks in advance to whomever is able to help me out.

If you are using Chrome or Firefox, check your down load folder. Otherwise, I believe you can try again tomorrow.
