Ok so just got home and unloaded my newest project. :rocker2:  Saw this thing on E-bay and come to find out it was sitting a few miles from home. Went over to the guy's place, made a deal and there it is. I need to find the right engine (the one on it isn't correct so none of the guards or shields will fit) and make some brackets to mount the tin back on, but I think it just looks cool as heck. May take me a while but I think it will be great for trimming. Thanks to achomesteader because  i already found and downloaded the manual on here

Sounds like a deal to me, for sure for sure!  I like those Wonder-Boys.

Does it need a Clinton or a Briggs?

Nice looking little 315!   36_1_11.gif

Did you find the ID tag on it? Looks like a #990775 judging from the battery support on the right side. If so, the original engine should have been a Briggs, model 130207, type 0358-01.

you are correct on all of that! It's gonna be fun finding the correct engine for that. I found out it supposed to be the elec start briggs instead of pull start. not impossible, but still harder to find around here.
