Well, I found an ad on craigslist on a Lambert GT. It looks to be in good shape. He might be coming here but I ant sure. Here is the picture. These tractors look like they where built tough. Someone told me they had transmission in them from some type of car?

Anyways, just though you guys would like to see it. I might trade my Farmall H for it.

That Lambert looks a lot like my model 666. Mine has a 6 horse tecumshe engine in it. Not a lot of these tractors out there. If you look in the manuals section of this site I downloaded the parts breakdown I have for mine. The tranny is I think the same as was used in a Crossly car. I have seen pictures of one other model of Lambert which was a 1054 with a 10 horse engine in it but it was built a little different from this one and was a bit higher overall.
Here is a picture of my Lambert. Lambert is still in business building lawn sweepers and such but only built the tractors for a short time in the early 1960's

Good luck getting that tractor!

I love those GT's of that style and vintage. Too bad someone can't make a simple machine like that now. That one reminds me of a Springfield....

Your right Brian, very rare. Usually you dont see this stuff in MN either. Cant believe that I might have a really rare tractor and I am only 14.
I hope I can get it to Maynard.

.100_3830.jpg Have had this one since 1992. Had a bad 8hp tecumseh, installed 8hp Kohler, All my grandkids have pulled it at our tractor club garden tractor pulls. Grandkids range from 26 to 6 years old. Great little tractor.

Welcome to the site Geo, glad you found us and joined up! That is a nice looking Lambert tractor you have, thanks for the picture. Stop by the new members introduction forum and introduce yourself. I think you will find this a friendly place to hang your hat and visit awhile.
