im working on my senior project which i present tomorrow.  I came across people using vegetable oil in place of motor oil.  Im goin to try it in a old honda mower i have and see if it works.  If it does it will be part of my presentation tomorrow. any ideas if it will work

I did this forty years ago on a lawnmower someone discarded because the deck was rotted out.  I think it was planters peanut oil.  The engine started smoking badly after one minute and it seized within five minutes.
