I haven't heard of this one and the parts lists do not show any with a 23HP engine. Looks like a plain old Ford LGT 195 to me.

Kenny, does the 195 have the exhaust hole in the lower centre of the grill like that one. It's interesting that these rare models keep showing up.

The hole in the grill and the one in the hood tell me it may have been an after market FEL machine re-badged?

Those 2 holes look like a PO cut them in there. There is nothing to be found about this model other than one sold on e-bay 4/13 for $495. I think it's just a 195 with a larger engine.

For the price he is asking, I suspect he will continue to own it for a while.

It's really not too out of line for the 195, as they are hard to find. Not many made!

There is a tractor that looks alot like that the next town over on a back road. It has been sitiing out there for years. It is only a few miles from the Ford dealership. How expensive are parts compared to my Bolens 1250? How much would it weigh?

They weight 850+. Parts are very hard to come by, mainly used.

I went to tractordata and looked for the ford centurion.  They have an extensive list of ford lawn and garden tractors, but no Centurion model.    A Ford 195 weighs in at 1125 lbs, and a Bolens 1250 weighs in at 975 lbs.

That 1250 is a big 'ol garden tractor, and so is the 195.  Both would be great choices to have in your herd, that's for sure!

I knew the weight was up there, just didn't know off hand where. That's why I went low! I think someone stuck those decals on there to make it look rare!

I wouldn't trust anything a guy posts about a supposed rare tractor when he doesn't even know which way Ag tire treads are supposed to face .

Come on guys , no one noticed that he had the tires on backwards ...... :smilewink:
