The label on my Delco Remy S/G has seen better days and I'd like to replace it.  I've seen the replacement tags on EBay. Are they correct for Briggs engines or did Briggs have a special tag?  Anyone have a photo of theirs?  It is on an Allis HB112.

That is the same tag I have on 73 Briggs. Standard Delco-Remy tag. Buy 2 so you can practice stamping to get the look you want.

I would love to restore that tag for you, but I can't imagine you wanting to wait for a couple of weeks to get it back, mostly due to shipping across the borders. But I wanted to offer my services anyway.

If you decide to go with the new tags, I recommend looking for a trophy company, and ask them how much it would be to scribe your old numbers onto the new tag. Trying to find the correct set of punches with the right font could be more time consuming then it's worth. Just my two cents worth.
