Tecumseh To Kohler

i have a 73 sear ss or st 16 and im having carb problems with the 16hp Tecumseh so I want to put a k series kohler in it I want to know if its possible and if it is what kohler oil pan do I need Thanks

Why don't you just fix the Carburetor on the Tecumseh?  Seems to me that would be alot easier.

Why don't you just fix the Carburetor on the Tecumseh?  Seems to me that would be alot easier.

Taking off a carb to rebuild it seems like a pretty simple fix instead of replacing the engine....

I agree about fixing carb. If you are fed up with, give Mark a try at www.carbrescue.com. He rebuilt the carb on my HH120, I figured it was a hopeless case, but he made it look brand new.
