Running and driving

Here is my suburban 12 running and driving. This tractor is my first "Vintage" tractor I have ever had (excluding my gravely). Runs like crap has a horrid valve tick, but it runs.

I'm glad you got it running! Sounds pretty good, but I think the intake valve is sticking open a little. Watch for backfires through the carb, can cause a fire if you're not careful! Great work though and thanks for the video!

Yep, like maynerd (idk if I spelled it right of, if thats even your name) said, with a little TLC it will run like a chanp. I think the intake is stuck open abit. I had the head off earlier and it looked like it. And that knock/tick is from the exaust valve. I need to lap the valves.

Updates: I havent gotten a deck drive belt so I pulled the deck off and threw some 4 link chains on. I havent been able to try it out yet since I need a new carb. One of my connections (Hugh SS/16 on MTF) is gonna try and get me a carb. So we will see what happens.

Its running again. Used RTV sealer to make it so the carb wont leak fuel, and I can use it to some extent. Gonna dethatch and sweep the yard with it.
