The good news is that we got in excess of 2 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.

The bad news is that the wind has been blowing 20 to 30 miles an hours for 2 days now and the temps dropped from a high of 47 yesterday to a high of 32 today.

During the nite it alternated from snow to sleet to freezing rain. We went uptown at 10 am and the roadside weeds were covered with ice with a background of green grass peeking thru..

Well enough of my soap box rant I'm just tired of winter and starting to get cabin fever big time.

Oh I almost forgot.. I fellow offered me a Bolen's 1250 that has a Deck, Snow Blower, Tiller, and Snow Blade for $900. Seems kind of high to me ,

It hasn't been started for 5 or 6 years, been stored outside for the last 3 and ALL it needs is a carburetor float in his opinion !!!

Sorry no pics but I suspect that the Bolen's guy's on this board know what it looks like already.

Your weather sounds like our predictions, it was 78 F today with strong winds, humid, supposed to change to thunderstorms and keep dropping the rest of the week and back to freezing by Sat. How is a guy supposed to get fields ready, GT's running and such in this?

Oh ya, that sounds a "bit" high to me too for the 1250, especially since it has all been outside for a "while".

Well, we have forgotten spring and marched directly into summer.  My thermometer in the shade read 91 at 3 this afternoon.  That didn't seem right, though.  Yesterday was 85, and it felt like it.  It's bad when you go from freezing to burning.
