Sell one broom, the other breaks. Opened it up and found the gear on the end has nothing holding it to the shaft. No diagram of the internals of the gearbox. Is it supposed to be a roll pin in there?

It does look like there should be a roll pin in the hole.  In fact, it looks like the roll pin (or part of it) is still inside the housing.

There should be a roll pin holding each gear to the shaft. Looking at the pic that box looks alot like a bolens tube frame mower deck gearbox.

One tiny fragment. New 1/4" pin in there now. Thanks for the help.
