Shoot as much rain as we have had the weatherman is still saying we are behind. Behind what? the ocean?

Dig down a ways & see how much moisture is in the sub-soil!

Good point! I know last August I was digging post holes to set my shed on posts and it was bone dry 3 ft down( Never seen that in my life). It would take a lot of moisture to get that deep.

Dig down a ways & see how much moisture is in the sub-soil!

It was so dry here that guys were using water for fish bait.  :bs:

Glad you folks are getting moisture. I hope it continues.

At 8 inches here you can make a puddle. Not sure what the actual depth of the water is. After tonight it will be -4 inches I am sure.

Chris did you get all that snow that went through this week? They were saying NW Iowa got anywhere from 1.5"-6.5".

Yes we did. :dancingbanana:   Looked to be close to 10 inches of wet heavy snow. The kind that has so much moisture in it that it almost looks blue inside. Loved every inch of it. Now for spring.
