I work with some slightly taller tripods on occasion . Sometimes the owners let me play with ropes on them . But the owners make me sign agreements not to post pics of them . , public domain pics are out there probably .  They are fun .

As part of my hobby I get to inspect tripods to be sure they are suitable for use . The tripod belonging to Moosetalesdad seems to be well built .

Dad's without power right now due to heavy snow fall but once he's back on line I'll have him post a few up close pics of his set up. I know he'd love the feedback since he designed and had the tripod custom fabricated to his specs. It's one bleeping heavy rig. The Deming crew doesn't know how to build any other way but to over engineer things.
