My stepson asked me if I wanted to go fishing with him tonight.  I said sure.  He got some worms and we headed out.  We never left suburbia.  He knew of a honey hole near a shopping plaza.  We went there for just about 35 minutes.  He always gets the biggest fish no matter what we go after.  Not tonight.

I got a 14" brown.  His largest was not even close. They are sitting in salt water and vinegar tonight and will steam in lemon juice and spices in foil tomorrow night.

Here we go.

BEAUTIFUL!

I know that's a healthier way to fix them but I like mine rolled in a little flower with salt and pepper then pan fried in butter.

No, I like all trout.  It tastes great no matter how you make it.  I had it prepared this way at a World Boy Scout Jamboree camping in Scotland and have always liked it done that way.  In the Adirondacks, we sometimes just pop them over a fire for lunch and keep fishing.

Nice catch !  I'm not a fisherman but my wife does a little ( go figure lol)  I'll have to show her yours , that doesn't sound right does it ? lol

Al, I just about laughed myself silly.  With my tongue firmly planted in my cheek, I am carefully typing.  Go right ahead and make sure she reads the title. lol.
