OK Sam (1967bolens collector), you are going to have to dig DEEP into your tractor fund.

Since we got some really nice weather today, I decided to get the 1000 off the trailer. After HOURS of back breaking, hard labor, lots of EXPENSIVE 'shop materials', and a part ROBBED from a RARE tractor just to get it moving....your 1000 is off the trailer, and running on it's own power.

You will be getting a visit from the "Two Cousins Named Guido" collection agency with a list of my demands shortly.

Just so you know I'm serious...here's a video of the 'hostage' No cops, no feds....or the tractor "gets it"!!!! :D :D :D

I can wait until you get it picked up.

Now to 'fess up and tell the truth :D :D :D :D

The "HOURS of back breaking, hard labor, lots of EXPENSIVE 'shop materials', and a part ROBBED from a RARE tractor" consisted of:

1. Parking the HDT1000 next to the trailer to jump start the 1000.

2. A splash of gas, maybe a quart or so.

3. Opening the petcock on the gas tank.  (Good move by the PO in closing it.)

4. Cranking it over a few times with no result.

5. Taking off the air filter, and giving it a WEE spritz of ether.

6. Cranking again and it fired, sputtered a time or two and stopped.

7. Cranked again with out the ether, and it fired up and smoothed right out with no smoke at any time.

8. Took a freewheeling pin off of one of the G11s which just happened to be sitting in the right position.

9. Putting it in the 1000 which also just happened to be in the right position so that just a tiny bit of rocking was needed to get it to line up.

10.  Jumping it again, and backing it off the trailer.

The whole process took maybe a 1/2 hour with a smoke break included  :D :D :D :D

I think that Sam "Dun good" and got a really nice tractor for $150.00.

2. A splash of gas, maybe a quart or so.

A Quart!  That doubled the value of the tractor right there.  Make sure Guidio gets the word about the gas!
