Running out of luck finding a replacement LME34 carb - and knowing that a lot of folks have issues with worn bushings I can't trust what I'm finding on Ebay.

Have any of you found a suitable replacement carb that can be bought new, and doesn't require extensive modification or reworking of linkages, ect?

Welcome to the forum. I can't help with the carb issues, but someone may be able to!

I just found one that was made for a HH120 and bought it. It was a bit smaller, but everything bolted right up.

Have you checked with our site sponsers yet?  I haven't yet dealt with any of them, but every account I see on here says they do a great job and often have what you are looking for.

I am pretty sure one of the site sponsors could hook you up.

I will second Mark at Carb Rescue. He brought back the carb on my HH120 that I thought was trash. He can replace bushings and even has a test mule he can get it closed to tuned for you.

I know a carb from 8 Hp Kohler will bolt on with few mods and run good, but they are getting hard to find also.

I ordered the same carb on Ebay.  It's $79 and claims to be "Proudly Made in USA".

It is going on a Sears Suburban SS12 however the mounting flange is about 1/4" thinner than the original carb, so we're having a spacer plate made up at a local machine shop ($25).

I am not the seller - this is not a direct bolt on for a SS12 sears (HH120 engine) - needs a spacer plate.   Just putting this here in case someone wants a new replacement:  http://www.ebay.com/...-/130908845833?
