I remember the smaller farmers using them when I was younger.

Ours weren't that fancy, just a piece of plywood a little over a foot square with a 2x2  for a leg.  Used them daily!  ~~  Lowell

No, we've always had a milk parlor with cows feet at about our wastes while standing.  Glad I never had to use them too!

the one we used was like lowell describes . great uncle willard milked a lot of goats and te walked them up on a platform with a station and manger and theen used one with a post and 2X6 seat,
Never seen one that strapped on.
