I got home a little early today and used my new $9.99 gear puller (lol) and got the steering wheel off. Gosh, I do not wish that on anybody! Working on getting the column out of the tractor now. I knew the lights didn't work and found that problem. Just lots of loose wires hanging around. I get side tracked so easy! Must be my A.D.D. acting up!

When you start taking one apart to fix something, lots of other things seem to crop up. Before long, you're into a restore!

Thats my problem Kenny! I have the column almost out. Going to pressure wash it because it has 40 years of grime built up all around the frame and tranny. Then I was thinking while all the tins are off if I should get them painted. I have to stop because I need it. Otherwise I would do it and end up with a semi new gt14

I have only witnessed one thing harder on these tractors to take out...... The standard transmission !!!! That thing was just shy of being built around !! Nasty little booger to get out..... Doing a custom diff for the 2 pullers
