This is the bracket that goes from the top of the cylinder head to the fiberglass grille on the '72-'76 GT and LGT tractors. The front hood mounts bolt to it. They're made of 15 gauge steel and are known to crack/fall apart due to vibration and two stress risers near the front. I'm having a couple of them (for now) made up IN 12 GAUGE at a reputable local fab shop. The stress risers will also be radiused out. I expect the first ones to run me about $300, but would consider having additional units done because the initial layout work is what constitutes most of the cost.


Does anyone here have interest? And at what price? Let me know.....the attached pic is of an original piece.
